This slight drop comes a day after the country reported 2,678 cases Friday.

As many as eight fresh fatalities were also recorded, taking the overall toll in the country to 5,28,874.

A total of 2,378 new recoveries were reported as total people who recuperated from the disease surged to 4,40,70,935.

The fatality rate was recorded at 1.19 per cent.

The active cases comprise 0.06 per cent of the total infections, whereas the national Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.76 per cent.

On the vaccination front, the government has been continuously speeding up the vaccination drive across the country. According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry on Saturday 89.83 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 2,41,707 tests have been conducted. “India has administered 219.27 cr doses (94.95 cr Second Dose and 21.81 cr Precaution Dose) of Covid-19 vaccine, so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive,” Ministry data said.

三 | 活动通过“时光照相馆”“心愿寄语墙”及公益金资助项目拼图游戏，生动还原了福彩公益金“取之于民、用之于民”的路径。现场设置的公益金筹集与分配流程图，直观展示了购彩金额中按比例提取的公益金，如何精准流向养老服务、残疾人康复、困难群体救助等民生领域。数据显示，“十四五”期间，德州累计销售福利彩票15.93亿元，筹集公益金约5.57亿元，其中约3.06亿元已转化为全市3.2万张养老床位、4556户适老化改造及108处助老幸福食堂，让公众明明白白看到爱心落地的全过程。本次活动还结合“德润银龄”主题，将责任理念延伸至老年人权益保护。在银龄惠民服务区，反诈科普区通过卡片抽答、情景剧《戏韵护养老，反诈守平安》等形式，帮助老年人识别保健品骗局与“免费领鸡蛋”套路，守好“钱袋子”。
